Property Accountant- Bethesda, MD Beacon Hill Financial is partnering with a locally headquartered real estate firm in the search for a skilled Property Accountant to join their team. This position will report directly to the Accounting Manager and play a key role in managing financial activity for a portfolio of properties. The ideal candidate will handle all aspects of CAM reconciliations, journal entries, and vendor payments. This is a full-time, on-site role based out of the company's Bethesda, MD office and will require presence in the office five days a week. Primary Responsibilities: Prepare annual CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliations and ensure alignment with lease agreements Post monthly journal entries, including accruals, amortization, and routine adjustments Reconcile tenant accounts and resolve variances promptly Manage accounts payable and process payments to vendors across assigned properties Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages Handle tenant billing for rent, CAM charges, property taxes, and other reimbursable expenses Perform monthly bank reconciliations and validate all supporting documentation Work closely with property managers to provide financial updates and reporting support Maintain lease data accuracy within accounting systems Assist with annual audit preparations and coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
