Will be responsible for providing web-based solutions and support to existing applications. The candidate will also possess skills in requirements gathering, application design, software development, documentation, and customer service Job responsibilities: • Application integration as a core function of systems development to include experience and knowledge of designing, developing, and supporting applications using the following technologies: • Oracle database (11g and above) • PL-SQL • Unix Shell Scripting • Documenting work to be performed. (i.e. - requirements gathering, design/analysis, technical specifications, code, implementation, and support) • Developing and executing database queries to generate reports and aid in data analysis • Learning different technologies, both currently in use and new • Working directly with programming staff and users to analyze and develop innovative applications for improving business operations within various City of Richmond departments.
