Job Details: Job Title : Assembler: Electrical Work Location : Alpharetta , GA Duration : 06-09 Months Shift Timings : 6:30 AM to 3 PM or 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm M-F (2nd shift) Please note: Training will be done on the 1st shift (one to two months) before being moved to the 2nd shift. Job Description: An Electrical Assembler is responsible for performing sub-assembly wiring and final assembly wiring duties on products for Low and Medium Voltage Electrical Distribution Equipment such as LV Motor Control Centers, MV breakers, MV switchgear and Motor Control Centers, DC Electrical Vehicle Chargers and Solar Inverters. Roles & Responsibilities: • Perform sub-assembly wiring and final assembly wiring work to the highest level of accuracy and workmanship • Strong team player • Work with large power cables including the correct method of crimping connectors • Perform proper stripping and crimping techniques • Assemble components on panels per given layout or drawings You'll win us over by having the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications • 1+ years' experience performing mechanical assembly (build) of product • 1+ years' experience with commercial or industry wiring • Must have the ability to read and work with schematic drawings/layouts/wire lists with minimal to no supervision • Experience working with standard hand and power tools both pneumatic and battery operated and wiring tools such as hand crimpers, and wire strippers, and accurately read a tape measure. • Must be a strong team player • Conform with Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policy and Management System and strive to continually improve the intended outcomes of the Management System. • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Preferred Qualifications • High School Diploma or GED • Possess some knowledge of electrical clearances • Associate degree or technical training in area of responsibility Please note: training will be done on the 1st shift (one to two months) before being moved to the 2nd shift.
