IT Field Service Technician

Title: IT Field Service Technician I Location: Syracuse, NY Note: This is a W2 contract opportunity, and it is NOT open to C2C or 3 rd party candidates The IT Field Service Technician will manage all activities required to provide technical services to internal customers, identifying, prioritizing, and confirming resolution of reported problems with desktop laptop and networked systems. The IT Field Service Technician will ensure that all phases of desktop support, including installations, upgrades, software/hardware support, operating systems, and configuration issues, are properly coordinated, monitored, tracked, and resolved. The IT Field Service Technician will execute information technology projects to ensure the success of department objectives. They may perform training programs designed to educate the organization's computer users about basic computer use and specialized applications. They will be expected to maintain an expert-level skill of computer literacy, including a working knowledge of Operating Systems, primarily Windows, desktop and laptop systems, and use of mobile devices. Position Qualifications: 2-3 years of related hands-on IT Support experience A minimum of an Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other relevant field; CompTIA A+ and/or Networking Certifications preferred
