Job Description

Position Overview The Billing Administrator is responsible for managing sales documentation and billing functions for the New and Used Truck Departments. This role ensures that every transaction is billed accurately, all required paperwork is properly completed, and dealership procedures are consistently applied. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple administrative duties. Primary Duties Prepare invoices for truck sales across multiple dealership locations Handle documentation related to titles, plates, permits, powers of attorney, and warranties Process state tax filings and exemption paperwork for sales transactions Complete and file Assignment of Proceeds documentation when applicable Keep sales records organized and ensure all deal jackets are finalized and accurate Provide training and support to coworkers on billing tasks as directed Step in to assist with other administrative responsibilities when necessary Contribute to special projects and initiatives assigned by management Promote a professional, well-organized, and safe workplace environment Required Background Minimum of 5 years' experience in a billing, title, or sales tax-related role Strong computer proficiency, with advanced Excel skills preferred Solid organizational and time-management abilities Professional demeanor with a positive, team-oriented attitude Ability to interpret business publications, technical guidelines, and regulatory requirements Skilled in drafting business communications, reports, and operating procedures Confident in presenting information and addressing questions from managers, clients, and customers
