If you are interested in this Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse position, please contact Austin Faris at 586-710-7941 or afaris@ Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse Compensation The pay for this position is $30 per hour Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse Highlights This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs The required availability for this position is 6:15 AM - 7:30 PM, 3 days per week with 4 days off, including one weekend day Must be available any day of the week Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities Administer nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse, physician, or other licensed provider Administer medications (oral, topical, rectal, intramuscular, subcutaneous) and provide medication instructions to patients Maintain medication accountability records and chart patient records Observe, document, and report patient conditions, medication reactions, and treatment responses Provide direct care and assistance with daily living activities (e.g., vital signs, grooming, bathing, repositioning) Assist in emergencies by administering first aid and performing CPR Provide guidance, orientation, and training to lower-level direct care staff Order medication and medical supplies, clean nurse stations, and perform clerical tasks as needed Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse Requirements Active Ohio LPN license BLS/CPR certification Must pass a TB test and HireRight drug screen within 48 hours of accepting the position Must clear facility security requirements (metal detectors, personal item restrictions, etc.) High School Diploma or GED Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days If you think this Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse position is a good fit for you, please reach out to me - feel free to call, e-mail, or apply to this posting!
