AV Integration/Installation Technician Location: Mishawaka, IN Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 Work with installation teams including installers, service technicians, and contractors to ensure quality installations and deliveries on a daily basis. Assist with project management services and assess field site readiness on larger projects. Must be highly skilled in one or more technical disciplines and integration experience is preferred. Must be knowledgeable in all phases of systems integration, capable of working independently. Must be able to effectively interface with client and other trades. Essential Functions: The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Perform on-site and in-shop installation work Communicate installation progress to project manager Coordinate all install punch list items Participate in meetings to provide training and feedback to installers and the director of the business unit. Assist with parts requisitions Minimum Qualifications ( Knowledge, Skills and Abilities) Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience Minimum two year experience in one or more related segments, including AV installation, cable pulling, field terminations, system commissioning, DSP configuration, programming, etc. Demonstrates familiarity with the basics of project administration, and ability to plan logistically for all phases of project cycles Excellent computer skills including all MS Office applications. (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required. Solid understanding and experience with integrated operating systems required. Must have strong interpersonal skills and be capable of communicating with a diverse range of individuals - oral and written. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Must have strong skills in organization and planning, demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment and problem solving. Must have strong customer support orientation (for internal/external customers), demonstrated professional demeanor, and the ability to maintain confidential information.
