If you are interested in this Medical Coding Education Coordinator position, please contact Lindsay at LKOPASZ@ Medical Coding Education Coordinator Compensation The pay for this position is $25.00 per hour Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Medical Coding Education Coordinator Highlights This position is a 13-week contract assignment with potential to hire permanently based on attendance, performance, and business needs The required availability for this position is Monday???Friday, 9:00 AM ??? 5:00 PM (flexible start times between 7:00 AM ??? 3:00 PM) Standard 40-hour workweek with no mandatory overtime Mostly remote/virtual education with occasional local travel in Michigan Medical Coding Education Coordinator Responsibilities Provide one-on-one and group education for providers and coding staff Ensure documentation matches services provided and follows compliance standards Deliver training on ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCC, NCCI edits, and coding requirements Develop and implement education work plans to improve coding accuracy and timeliness Use Microsoft Office and data tools to support documentation improvement Medical Coding Education Coordinator Requirements High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 3 years??? experience in medical coding, documentation improvement, compliance, or billing Must hold at least one of the following certifications: CPC, CCS, CCS-P, RHIT, or RHIA Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, medical terminology, pharmacology, and coding systems Ability to travel occasionally within Michigan (primarily within one hour of Troy, MI) High proficiency in Microsoft Office; data analytics experience preferred Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days Medical Coding Education Coordinator Preferred Qualifications Associate???s degree in a healthcare-related field, Medical Record Sciences, or Business/Healthcare Administration Two years of specialty coding certification experience If you think this Medical Coding Education Coordinator position is a good fit for you, please reach out to me ??? feel free to call, e-mail, or apply to this posting!
