Project Controls Coordinator III Contract Duration: Long term contract with potential for extension) Location: Houston, TX 77079 Work Schedule: Hybrid (On-site: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday | Remote: Wednesday, Friday) Travel: Occasional travel to offices or project sites in the U.S. or Canada may be required. Position Overview: Enbridge, a leader in the crude and natural gas transportation and gathering industry, is seeking a Project Controls Coordinator III to join our Core Project Controls Team. This role will provide comprehensive cost control support for multiple maintenance projects and assist in implementing project control standards and best practices across disciplines including engineering, procurement, and construction. You will report to the Supervisor, Project Controls - Core Programs and support approximately 10+ projects ranging from $300K to $10MM in value, generally spanning 1-2 years in duration. Key Responsibilities: Cost Control & Analysis: Provide total cost control guidance and support to Project Managers and teams. Develop and maintain project control budgets, monitor costs, analyze variances, and provide forecasts. Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) principles to track project performance. Prepare and review monthly, bi-monthly, and quarterly reports for stakeholders, including senior executives and the Board of Directors. Participate in risk identification and mitigation planning for projects. Project Controls Implementation: Support implementation of project controls processes including baselining, change management, lifecycle stage gates, and reporting. Maintain cost and schedule tracking tools and ensure alignment with corporate standards. Lead and contribute to project close-out activities and lessons learned. Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional project teams and cost control staff to ensure accuracy and completeness of cost data. Attend project meetings and vendor interactions to stay informed on project status and risks. Provide coaching and governance on cost control standards and procedures. Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration, Engineering, or Construction Management. Certifications (preferred): AACE's Certified Cost Professional (CCP/CCE) or PMP. Experience & Skills: 4-8 years of experience in cost and schedule control, preferably in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Industrial, or Power sectors. Proficient in Oracle, EcoSys, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with Power BI, OneDrive, and SharePoint for documentation and reporting. Strong analytical and communication skills. Experience with cost and schedule standards and tools, and ability to enhance processes. Capable of independently managing workloads and collaborating with remote teams. Comfortable working in a high-volume, multi-project environment.
