Job Title: Accounting Supervisor Location: Seymour, Hybrid Salary: 85K-95K Position Summary The Accounting Supervisor will oversee daily accounting operations across five business units nationwide. This is a primarily onsite role (Monday-Thursday) with the option to work from home on Fridays. The Accounting Supervisor will lead a team of accounting staff, ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain internal controls, and support companywide financial goals. Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Supervisor Supervise and coordinate daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll. Review account reconciliations and financial reports for accuracy and completeness. Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure deadlines are met. Maintain and enforce internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets. Support outside tax accountants with schedules, documentation, and inquiries. Train, mentor, and evaluate accounting staff. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and resolve accounting issues. Qualifications for the Accounting Supervisor Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
