Supply Chain Assistant IV Contract Duration:  Contract through 09/09/2026 (High potential for extension) Location:  Jackson, MI 49201 Position Overview CMS Energy is seeking a highly motivated  Supply Chain Assistant IV  to join our team in Jackson, MI. This role is responsible for supporting supply chain operations through data analysis, process improvement, and cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. Key Responsibilities Analyze supply chain processes and data to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements. Collaborate with engineers, quality assurance professionals, and IT teams to implement and test supply chain solutions. Work on initiatives such as optimizing warehouse management structures, enhancing material flow logistics, and strengthening supplier/carrier relationships. Utilize SQL and data analysis tools to uncover trends, identify root causes of issues, and support data-driven decision-making. Translate business challenges into actionable technical solutions. Conduct site visits to warehouse or operational facilities as needed. Document processes, findings, and recommendations clearly and concisely. Required Skills and Qualifications Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with SQL and data analysis tools. Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience in supply chain, logistics, or a related field is preferred. Attention to detail and organizational skills. Work Environment Standard office hours with occasional travel to warehouses or operational sites. 100% onsite role in Jackson, MI.
