Logistics Specialist III Troy, NY 12 Months Work shift - 2nd shift 3:00pm - 11:30pm Candidate Screen(Interview) - Teams, Phone, or Onsite? - On-site Temp to Perm (Yes/No): yes Job Description Summary This role executes the receiving, storing, using, staging, Data entry and distribution of materials required for assembly of product. Job Description Essential Responsibilities • Perform physical movement of materials from one area to another. • Physically and systemically receive/issue individual material from internal and external departments Quantifies and verifies cycle count • Replenish parts and material by stocking shelves in warehouse • Delivering parts and material throughout Manufacturing site • Work with appropriate logistics and production personnel to resolve/prevent part shortages • Perform cycle audits and physical inventory per schedule. • Perform WIP transactions in oracle system • Perform MRB transactions in oracle system • Perform Refurb transactions in oracle system • Help reconcile inventory discrepancies and report discrepancies to Supervisor • Comply with EHS & Quality System regulations and policies • Read and follow work instructions • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned • Maintain warehouse and dock area for cleanliness and organization • Data entry on movement of parts Qualifications/Requirements: • High school Diploma or local equivalent • Proficient in basic mathematics • Ability to communicate well and work with others • Basic computer skills • Ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs • Able to use pallet jacks • Able to be cross train in different areas when needed Preferred Qualifications: • 3 or more years experience in storing and material handling • Knowledge of computerized material flow methods • Basic knowledge of quality and inventory control • Oracle experience preferred will train correct person • Computer skills able to do data entry
