Overview The Central Supply Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of medical supplies and equipment within a healthcare setting. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who is knowledgeable in inventory management and possesses a solid understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. The Supply Technician will be responsible for maintaining sterile processing standards and ensuring that all supplies are readily available for clinical staff. Responsibilities Manage inventory levels by tracking supply usage and reordering as necessary to prevent shortages. Ensure all medical supplies are stored properly, adhering to sterile processing protocols. Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and assist in conducting regular audits. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent 1 to 2 years of SPD/Central Supply experience in a hospital environment Familiarity with sterile processing techniques Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
