PMCS Group is looking for a skilled Senior Inspector (MEP) to oversee and guide inspection activities on large-scale projects. This is an opportunity to apply your technical expertise while leading inspection teams and supporting critical construction work. As a Senior Inspector (MEP) , you will conduct and oversee inspections for electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems on major construction projects. You'll ensure work meets specifications, codes, and safety standards, while also training and supervising inspection staff. Your role will be central in maintaining quality, supporting safety, and keeping projects on track. Key Responsibilities: Visit construction sites and inspect all stages of work through completion Interpret plans, specifications, and codes to verify compliance Maintain daily activity logs and prepare progress reports Review or prepare contractor payment reports and monitor testing activities Prepare reports on labor, materials, and equipment on site Arrange, coordinate, and oversee technical inspections for MEP systems Monitor installation of emergency fans, air handler units, dampers, filter banks, transformers, and switchgear Monitor safety conditions and enforce compliance with rules and procedures Provide training for MEP inspectors and allocate inspection resources Supervise inspection teams to ensure quality and efficiency About Our Company PMCS Group, Inc. is a construction and project management firm with over 70 years of combined industry experience. The Benefits Lead inspection efforts on high-profile construction projects Be part of a company known for excellence and integrity in construction management Work in a collaborative environment with growth opportunities The Person Required Qualifications: 10 years of progressively responsible inspection experience on large commercial, industrial, heavy construction, or transit projects Expertise in MEP systems including electrical (high/low voltage), HVAC, plumbing, fire alarms, traction power, lighting, CCTV, and related systems ICC Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing inspection OSHA 30 or Cal-OSHA safety certification prior to project start Strong ability to interpret codes, specifications, and drawings Approximately 10 years of direct MEP inspection experience What's Next?
