Title: Sensory and Consumer R&D Coordinator Location: Plano, TX Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Role Overview Join our Food & Beverage R&D team to support sensory and consumer testing. You ll coordinate logistics, execute tests, and collaborate with Sensory Scientists to deliver actionable insights that inform product innovation. Key Responsibilities Partner with Sensory Scientists to define test goals, protocols, and requirements Schedule panels, coordinate logistics, and prepare testing materials on time Conduct bench-top and pilot plant sensory trials, including taste, texture, and aroma evaluations Record, compile, and summarize test data; provide initial insights and recommendations Maintain test environments and equipment; ensure lab supplies are stocked Handle report writing and communication with internal teams on test findings Required Skills Excellent verbal and written skills Strong math proficiency and meticulous attention to detail Comfortable managing multiple test projects simultaneously Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); quick learner of new software Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform hands-on lab tasks Preferred Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or relevant field 1+ year of consumer or sensory research experience in R&D, testing, or related environments
