Expert Staffing West is seeking A Material Handler in Moorpark CA. Material Handler is responsible for managing the movement, storage, and handling of materials within a warehouse or production environment, ensuring efficient operations and accurate inventory management. 1st shift open to working 2nd Pay: $17-18 DOE Key Responsibilities Material Movement : Load, unload, and transport materials and products within the warehouse or production area. Inventory Management : Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels, documenting orders, and ensuring materials are stored correctly. Order Fulfillment : Pull and verify materials for production orders, ensuring that the correct items are delivered to the appropriate workstations. Safety Compliance : Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Documentation : Maintain logs and records of materials received, stored, and shipped, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. Qualifications Education : High school diploma or equivalent; on-the-job training is typically provided. Experience : Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred. Skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks. Familiarity with inventory management systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
