Construction AP Specialist We are working with a reputable construction company to help them find an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team! Responsibilities of the Construction AP Specialist: Review, process, and code a high volume of vendor invoices Manage weekly check runs and ensure timely payments Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies Assist with project billing and ensure expenses are coded to the correct job and department Work closely with Project Managers and Vendors to maintain strong relationships Handle employee reimbursements and mileage reports Support month-end close activities as needed Maintain organized AP files and documentation for audit purposes Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably within construction or a project-based environment Familiarity with job costing and expense coding Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable working with a high volume of invoices (100+ weekly) Experience with Sage, Viewpoint, or similar construction accounting software a plus Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team About the Company: Stable and growing construction company with projects across multiple states Supportive leadership and team-oriented culture Opportunity for growth and career development Pay: $23-$25/hour
