Staff/Senior Accountant Location: Tampa, Florida Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 A growing real estate property management firm is looking for a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. Work in the heart of downtown Sarasota , close to great dining, entertainment, and scenic views. What You'll Do: Support daily accounting operations in collaboration with the Controller. Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely, accurate reporting. Prepare journal entries and support month-end and year-end close processes. Contribute to budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis. Monitor financial performance and help identify process improvements. Assist with AP and AR as needed. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 2+ years of accounting experience (real estate industry experience a plus). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, formulas). Property management and YARDI experience are highly desirable. Strong attention to detail and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
