Accounting Manager

Job Title: Accounting Manager Salary: $75,000-$80,000 Onsite role in Delaware, OH Summary: The Accounting Manager oversees key accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role collaborates with internal teams and external stakeholders to support the organization's financial health and goals. Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager: Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash processes for a small team. Oversee general ledger entries, financial statements, and reports for management and the Board. Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Regularly review and enhance processes to safeguard organizational assets. Lead the annual budget process and support external audits. Streamline accounting operations and assist with financial forecasting. Partner with other departments on financial planning and initiatives. Mentor accounting staff and provide performance feedback. Manage bank transfers, chart of accounts, and grant analysis. Qualifications & Skills of the Accounting Manager Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3+ years of experience. Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite, Peachtree/Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with tools like Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
