Junior Staff Accountant

Creative Financial Staffing of New York is currently working with a well-established non-profit located in the Bronx seeking a Junior Staff Accountant to join their team. About the organization: Our client is a mid-sized nonprofit organization with over $200million in operating budgets and over 50 programs. Their focus is on various ways to help the community through housing, education and providing medical benefits with people with disabilities and addictions. They are made up of smaller nonprofits all with the same mission statement and have been servicing the community for over 50 years. This role will be a fully in office position in the Bronx that has several train lines such as the B,D and bus lines that are accessible. There is also plenty of street parking Responsibilities: Invoicing for funding received, ensuring spending is tracked accurately through Accelerator CRM system Expense reimbursements, verifying expenses for month end Bank reconciliations and journal entries Ad hoc projects assigned by Controller Experience Preferred: 2+ years of nonprofit accounting, grant exposure a plus Experience with Fund EZ/Accelerator a plus Strong attention to detail and communication skills #INMAR2025
