Pre-OP/PACU RN Location: Atlanta, GA, 30339 Pay:  $38-45/hr. Hours : *Typically 35 hours per week other than the once a month Tuesday. M - 7:30-3:30 T (once a month) - 5:30-3:30 W - 5:30-3:30 Th - 12-4:30 F - 5:30-3:30 Job Description: We are seeking an experienced ASC Registered Nurse to join our team full-time . The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our ambulatory surgery center. The ASC Registered Nurse will work closely with the surgical team to ensure that patients receive the best possible care before, during, and after their procedures. Responsibilities Assess patients' health status and develop individualized care plans Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the physician Assist with surgical procedures and provide post-operative care Document patient care in electronic medical records Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care Provide patient education and support Adopts safe, best practices and controls to safeguard patients, self, and team from avoidable risks and exposures Restocks PACU area Requirements Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Georgia Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program, BSN preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ambulatory surgery center Prior OR, Pre-OP or PACU experience required (within 2 years) BLS and ACLS certified Excellent communication and interpersonal skills COVID vaccination is mandatory for on-site ASC employees working directly with patients.
