Job Summary: The Purchasing Manager will take an active role and participate in the direction and implementation of all procurement activities. With a team of direct reports, the Purchasing Manager is responsible for all supply chain activities including: supplier relationship development, logistics, supplier scorecards, material process development, price and contract negotiation, and economic order quantity implementation. The Purchasing Manager will act as a liaison to the Master Scheduler to ensure that all purchased supplies are available as needed. Responsible for cross-functional collaboration with Engineering and Quality teams to ensure material acceptability standards are consistently achieved.
