Payroll Specialist Dayton, OH Full-Time | Onsite Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our client's established team in the Dayton area. This role is essential in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with regulations, and a smooth experience for employees. The ideal candidate will have extensive payroll expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage payroll systems efficiently. Key Responsibilities Process payroll with precision, ensuring wages, bonuses, and deductions comply with company policies and regulations. Maintain accurate employee payroll records while safeguarding confidentiality. Address payroll discrepancies and provide timely support to employee inquiries. Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local payroll tax requirements. Support year-end payroll processes, including W-2 preparation and reporting. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years' experience in payroll processing, with union payroll experience highly preferred. Expertise in payroll systems, labor laws, and union contracts.
