SUMMARY Paragon Professional Services, LLC, a company within the BSNC family, is currently seeking a qualified Operations Manager (male or female) to work on a government contract. The ideal candidate will be assigned to the Moscow Embassy in Moscow, Russia. Applicants will be contacted via phone or email within ten (10) business days of submittal. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned. The OM shall manage the Contractor's workforce and be the Contractor's liaison with the Government. The OM shall be available 24-hours per day, seven days per week to receive and implement classified orders or special instructions from the CO or COR concerning the operation, protection, and security of assigned areas. QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications • The Operations Manager shall have completed at least an Associate degree • Minimum of five years' experience in the military, police or commercial guard force with proven experience in leadership roles is required • OM shall be computer literate, able to write basic reports, produce Standard Operating Procedures, and emails • Advanced security training • Experience with risk management including problem identification and problem solving • Top Secret Clearance (Active) • Ability to obtain a Diplomatic Passport • Must have a valid US driver's license with a clean driving record in the past 3 years • Must attend briefings/training in Washington, DC and Jordan prior to deployment • Ability to travel (periodically) to monitor training and meet staff in Jordan Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics • Knowledgeable in the use of common office management tools (e.g. Microsoft Office) • Supervising the static and close protection teams that provide protection to all U.S. mission facilities and personnel • Attend classified briefings when necessary and pass classified and/or sensitive information to members of the static and close protection teams as necessary • Preparing guard orders, deployment of guards and weekly scheduling • Conducting regular inspections of guards and guard posts • Investigating irregularities, maintain inventory reports • Preparing reports and making recommendations regarding discipline and termination actions • Overseeing guard program logistics including, e.g., explosive detection and x-ray equipment • Acting as a point of contact with the COR on operational matters • Ensure all MGs are properly uniformed and equipped to stand post • Plan, coordinate and lead MGs during integrated training and emergency response drills with the RSO and Marine Security Guard Detachment • Plan and coordinate contractor provided training to be held at post • Oversight of and responsible for quality control and contract compliance Preferred • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and collaborate with diverse teams • Ability to identify issues/problems and provide solutions • Experience overseeing large-scale operations with multiple functions including administrative staff and functional teams • Ability to lead, guide and manage teams to achieve exceptional performance and reviews • Experience interacting with Senior level government agencies and corporate officers NECESSARY PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. WORK ENVIRONMENT Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily in a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES • This position supervises employees ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
