Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per year A bit about us: We are on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Permanent Accounting Manager to join our team in the Construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a variety of accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes. 2. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, and report variances. 3. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements. 4. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. 5. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. 6. Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit. 7. Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements. 8. Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles. 9. Coordinate and complete annual audits. 10. Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities. Qualifications 1. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required. 2. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. 3. 5+ years of experience in a managerial accounting role, preferably in the construction industry. 4. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). 5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and accounting software. 6. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and cost control principles. 7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 8. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections. 9. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload in order to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. 10. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 11. Be able to demonstrate attention to details and good-record-keeping. 12. Team player and can collaborate with other teams in the organization. 13.
