Job Title: Business Analyst (Data Domain - Banking/Investment) Location: Remote Experience: 5+ Years Relevant Experience Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with strong data and reporting experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in the banking or investment domain , expertise in Power BI , and the ability to bridge business requirements with technical solutions. Key Responsibilities: Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to data, reporting, and visualization . Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to design and deliver Power BI dashboards and reports . Perform data analysis, validation, and mapping to ensure accuracy and consistency. Create detailed BRDs, FRDs, and user stories to support project execution. Support UAT by preparing test cases, validating results, and resolving defects. Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to data-driven solutions. Ensure compliance with banking/investment industry standards and regulations . Required Skills & Experience: 5+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on data-related projects . Strong hands-on expertise in Power BI (report development, DAX, data modeling, dashboards). Good knowledge of SQL, data mapping, and data modeling . Prior experience in banking, financial services, or investment management is highly preferred. Excellent understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies. Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently in Canada shift timings .
