Competitive compensation We have openings on 1st shift Great benefits 401k Match Plenty of overtime available Well-ventilated facility Job Details Duties: Responsible for overseeing a team of around 10 other tool Makers Machines parts to specifications, using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, and grinders. Set-ups, adjusts and operates basic machine tools as well as specialized, advanced tools to perform precision machining operations. Using precision instruments (e.g., micrometers), measures, examines, and tests completed units to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications Sets controls to regulate machining; enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media. Uses knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures. Calculates dimensions and tolerances using mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and vernier calipers. Aligns and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto machines.
