Temporary F/T Bilingual in Spanish Certified Medical Assistant Needed, Southwest Side of Chicago Our client, a busy Not-For-Profit (Federally Qualified Community Healthcare Center) located on the Southwest Side of Chicago, is currently looking to hire a temporary full-time bilingual in Spanish Certified Medical Assistant. You will be supporting the clinical team and ensuring efficient, high-quality patient care. This is a temporary full-time Medical Assistant Position working Monday-Friday and some Saturdays for a total of 40 hours per week. Work hours will vary Monday-Friday between the business hours of (7:00am to 6:00pm), and Saturdays from (7:00am to 2:00pm or 4:00pm). Job Responsibilities · Assist in direct patient care, including vital signs, rooming patients, administering vaccines, drawing blood, and preparing patients for exams and procedures. · Support clinicians with minor procedures, specimen collection, and documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. · Educate patients on health maintenance, chronic disease management, and preventive care under the direction of clinicians. · Ensure exam rooms are stocked and maintained, managing clinical supplies and inventory. · Manage vaccine inventory. · Assist in maintaining accurate and complete patient records, ensuring all clinical documentation is completed in a timely manner. Job Requirements · At least 3 years of recent Medical Assistant experience is required, preferably in a community health or FQHC setting. · High School Diploma · Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program is required. · Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required. · Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is required. · Current CPR certification. · Strong clinical skills in patient care, specimen collection, and clinical procedures. · Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. · Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Microsoft Office applications.
