Accounts Payable Manager About the Company and Opportunity: Our client is a well-established service company with more than 50 years of success and stability The leadership team is forward-thinking and committed to employee growth, development, and recognition Large and collaborative accounting/finance department with clear pathways for advancement Company culture emphasizes teamwork, community outreach, and volunteer engagement Competitive compensation package, including low-cost health benefits for employees and families, retirement contributions, and generous PTO Exposure to process improvement projects, automation initiatives, and opportunities to lead system upgrades Salary range- $90,000-120,000 Overview of the Accounts Payable Manager Role: Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts payable team, providing training, coaching, and career growth opportunities Establish and monitor team goals, ensuring deadlines and service levels are consistently met Drive a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement Oversee full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice processing, approvals, payment runs, and vendor management Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and audit requirements Review and streamline processes for efficiency and scalability. Manage vendor relationships, resolving discrepancies and negotiating terms when necessary Partner with procurement and other departments to ensure seamless operations and strong internal communication Implement best practices to improve accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of AP operations Leverage ERP systems and automation tools to enhance workflow and reporting. Provide leadership with timely reporting on AP metrics, cash flow, and expense trends Play a key role in supporting system upgrades and process transformation initiatives Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of progressive accounts payable experience with at least 2 years in a leadership/management role Strong understanding of full-cycle AP processes, internal controls, and ERP systems Proven ability to lead teams, implement process improvements, and manage vendor relationships Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills #LI-LR1 #ZRCFS #INSEP2025
