Define and uphold the technical strategy, ensuring alignment with our architecture and long-term digital transformation objectives. Oversee administration of core platforms including Bitbucket, AWS, and Snowflake, ensuring operational integrity and performance. Support Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance through active participation in audit processes related to financial and operational reporting. Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, technical coaching, and the promotion of engineering best practices. Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and a bilingual (Spanish-speaking) development team to deliver cohesive solutions. Requirements: 10+ years in software engineering, with 5+ years in senior or architectural roles Fluency in Spanish (written and verbal) for development team collaboration is preferred. Advanced proficiency in AWS services (Kafka, Kubernetes, Lambda, S3, etc.) Skilled in Java (Apache Camel), React Native, Python, C++, and Snowflake administration Experience with NoSQL, RDS, Elasticsearch, and Timestream Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional) is preferred.
