The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining and operating complex radiographic equipment. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, contributing to our mission of delivering the highest standard of healthcare services. **All shifts available! Responsibilities: Perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in the application of non-ionizing, high-frequency ultrasonic waves for diagnosis of disease. Prepare and position patients for CT scans following established protocols to ensure patient safety and optimal imaging results. Operate CT scanner to produce images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes. Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians and other medical professionals to discuss scan images, patient histories, and diagnostic information. Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements. Provide compassionate patient care, explaining procedures to patients and addressing any concerns or questions they may have. Perform routine maintenance checks on radiographic equipment, identifying any technical issues and reporting them to the appropriate personnel. Stay abreast with the latest industry advancements, technologies, and best practices in CT imaging. Qualifications: Florida Department of Health Radiographer or Radiologist Assistant license and ARRT (CT) certification; alternatively, ARRT (N) + ARRT (CT), or ARRT (T) + ARRT (CT) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or Red Cross) 2+ years of experience as a CT Technologist. Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field is preferred. Proficient in CT imaging software and image transmission systems (e.g., Visage) Strong patient care skills, including IV support and CD creation for transfers Ability to support MSTU (Mobile Stroke Team Unit) operations, community outreach, and stroke metrics workflow enhancements Excellent communication, technical troubleshooting, and teamwork capabilities Able to work rotating weekends and holidays Join our team and make a difference in patient care through your expertise and commitment as a CT Technologist.
