Billing Specialist Location: Pittsburgh, PA 15234 Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our accounting team. The right candidate will manage billing cycles, ensure accuracy in all invoicing, and handle AIA billing on construction projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a construction-oriented environment and values precision and timely follow-through. Key Responsibilities of the Billing Specialist Prepare, issue, and track invoices for construction projects, including AIA billing documents (G702, G703, etc.) Review contracts, change orders, and project owner agreements to ensure billing aligns with terms Reconcile billing with project budgets, subcontractor cost reports, and construction draw schedules Work with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to resolve billing discrepancies or inquiries Maintain accurate records of billings, retainage, and payment status Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing activities related to construction billing Support audits and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations Qualifications & Skills of the Billing Specialist Role: Prior experience with AIA billing in the construction industry required Strong understanding of construction contracts, change orders, progress draws, and retainage Excellent attention to detail; high accuracy in numbers and documentation Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (or equivalent) Good communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders Ability to work independently, manage multiple billing cycles, and meet deadlines #ZRCFS #INSEP2025
