Are you an experienced manufacturing leader with a passion for operational excellence and team development? We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Plant Manager to oversee all aspects of our facility's production, ensuring quality, efficiency, and a positive workplace culture. What You'll Do Review production orders and schedules to plan and coordinate daily operations, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications. Establish priorities for manufacturing processes and develop operational schedules to meet production goals. Monitor and analyze production and operational reports; resolve issues to minimize costs and prevent delays. Inspect equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal performance and utilization. Develop and enforce standard operating procedures and observe staff to ensure compliance and safety. Compile, store, and retrieve production data to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement. Lead daily/weekly 5S activities to maintain an organized, efficient, and safe workplace. Manage plant costs and strive for cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. Lead and Develop Teams Oversee department supervisors and ensure effective direction, coordination, and evaluation across Wire, Battery, Planning, and EHS departments. Directly supervise employees, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback. Uphold company policies and legal requirements in all supervisory activities. Handle employee relations, resolve grievances, and foster a collaborative work environment. Additional Responsibilities Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring processes. Organize and deliver training programs, ensuring team members are properly trained and cross-trained. Plan, assign, and direct daily work assignments. Write and deliver performance reviews, recognize achievements, and address performance issues as needed. Respond to employee concerns and resolve problems promptly and fairly. Your Profile Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field, or at least 6 years of relevant experience (or a combination of education and experience). Previous managerial experience preferred. Knowledge of SAP is a plus, but not required. Technical and Professional Skills Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; understanding of MRP logic and manufacturing planning processes. Familiar with quality systems and statistical methods; ISO 9001 required, IATF 16949 preferred. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and solve challenging problems. Experience with warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, and inventory management. Ability to collaborate with engineering teams to drive product and process improvements. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to leadership and external groups. Soft Skills Skilled at motivating teams, delegating tasks, and achieving results through others. Effective mediator, able to resolve personnel and departmental conflicts. Resourceful and quick to identify root causes and implement operational solutions. Adaptable, with a continuous improvement mindset and a strong sense of accountability. Why Join Us?
