Reconciles inventory subledger to the general ledger monthly. Analyze inventory purchases and usage variances/ determine root cause. Inventory reconciliations. Review company-owned inventory COGS and recommend adjustments. Period cost and E&O reserve analysis. Physical inventory counts/ reconciliation. Performs quarterly physical inventory counts and coordinates counts observation by external audit firm. Supports preparation and submission of quarterly and annual audit and tax packs. Prepares quarterly variance explanations for income statement and balance sheet. Leads activities in the preparation of quarterly and annual surveys. Reviews and analyzes unbilled receivables. Assists, as required, in special projects to improve overall efficiency, eliminating process waste and improving company profitability. Qualifications: Must be comfortable working 100% onsite Understanding of GAAP and corporate guidelines as they apply to accounting transactions. Strong understanding of financial statements and reports Familiar with Gov't accounting, FAR and CAS regulations a plus Bachelor's in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related field with 10 years of accounting experience with increasing responsibility over time Experience with Government Accounting Experience using Deltek CostPoint, TM1, and OneStream a plus Interested in hearing more?
