Company Prominent healthcare organization Industry Hospital & Health Care Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of a VP of Human Resources to lead a transformative change in the people experience for its 1,300-strong workforce. The successful candidate will be a visionary leader, responsible for redefining the strategic direction of talent and workforce initiatives. This role is pivotal in setting the strategic vision for talent and workforce, leading the development of a cohesive strategy that aligns with the organization/'s mission. The VP will also be instrumental in organizational design, talent development, and ensuring operational excellence within the HR function. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the VP will have a direct impact on the success of the organization, fostering an environment where every employee can thrive and contributing to the overall goal of advancing patient care and community well-being. Qualifications Applicants for the VP of Human Resources position at the company must have a Masters degree, a minimum of 7-10 years/' related HR experience, and a background in the healthcare industry, particularly within a union environment. The role requires a leader with broad technical HR knowledge, strong business acumen, and the ability to build deep and influential business partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in championing change, driving transformation programs, and managing and developing teams. Experience with HCM systems, digital HR tools, and an SPHR certification are also essential. The VP will be expected to collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team on various HR strategies, including talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning, and to provide guidance on complex employee issues.
