We are advisors on some of the largest, most technically complex projects in the nation with a project portfolio that includes tunnels and other critical infrastructure, transit, aviation, education, healthcare, public works, and water.We are seeking a dynamic Senior Civil Infrastructure Cost Estimator with extensive vehicle and transit tunnel experience to conduct detailed cost assessments for civil construction projects on some of the Western U.S./'s most prestigious and landmark projects.ResponsibilitiesProvide specialized preconstruction and post-contract support with experience in mid-to-large-scale public agency tunneling infrastructure projects exceeding 3,000 feet in length.Conduct detailed cost estimation and reviews for tunnel construction projects, from high-level planning and design through construction, across delivery methods including CM/GC and Progressive Design Build.Analyze construction schedules and provide expert assessment for merit of entitlement and cost estimation.Perform project management and construction management tasks, including constructability and risk assessment.Collaborate with project teams to understand technical requirements and specifications.Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather information for precise cost evaluations and project execution.Support the development of various cost estimating deliverables throughout the construction lifecycle.Minimum QualificationsDegree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related construction field.15 years of experience providing cost estimating support on heavy civil infrastructure projects, including at least 5 years supporting transportation tunnel projects of at least 3,000 feet in length.Experience estimating projects utilizing alternative delivery methods; CM/GC experience preferred.Strong skills in cost analysis, change order evaluation, and negotiation.Must have work authorization in the US (U.S. citizenship or visa); H1 sponsorship possible.Software proficiency in OST or Bluebeam; HCSS pensation: $105.00-140.00/hourPart-time and full-time positions are available.Benefits401(k)Medical InsuranceDental Insurance100% employer-paid premiumsAbout Us / Equal OpportunityLeland Saylor Associates is an equal opportunity employer.
