EY's Analytics and Data team is seeking a Master Data Management Manager focusing on helping our clients define and drive data management strategy and technology implementation. This role demands a seasoned professional with an ability to define a master data management design"” complemented by a solid track record of system delivery. The individual should be ready to guide clients through the adoption and implementation of advanced technologies.You will design and apply comprehensive methods, practices, policies, tools, and processes to govern and control the entire lifecycle of data assets. You will perform maturity assessments on data management capabilities and advise on tools and roadmaps to implement them. Additionally, you will articulate information strategies that align with business objectives. ResponsibilitiesDevelop solutions to complex problems, including functional and technical design of master data management software for key data domains such as customer, vendor, finance, and materialsExercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.Manage project status and deliverable completion while ensuring effective risk management.Guide clients in defining a data governance strategy including aspects such as data quality, data catalog, master data management, analytics use cases, data readiness for AI/ML, and systems alignment to leading ERP and CRM applications.Data Integrity Assurance: Implement cutting-edge DQ tools and processes to maintain impeccable data standards throughout the infrastructureAnalytical Collaboration: Engage in meticulous requirement gathering, interpret Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), and collaborate with system analysts to develop comprehensive source-to-target mappingsInvolved in strategic design, implementation, and optimization of data management solutions using Informatica and related tools, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving data governance and integration across the enterpriseData Scrutiny: Conduct thorough examinations of data within source databases prior to migration into data warehouses and generate detailed technical specifications in alignment with BRDsLead multiple engagements simultaneously, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and client satisfactionArchitecting, pipeline building, RFP responses, creating new solutions and offerings, conducting workshops as well as managing in flight projects Qualifications and SkillsThe candidate should possess a minimum of 8 years of direct involvement with MDM tools including SAP MDG and/or Informatica MDMExperience leading delivery teams in the areas of data governance, data management, and related system implementationsKnowledge of future trends/changes in the industry and the ability to articulate these to customersBenchmark design, development, delivery knowledgeWorking knowledge of cloud technologies AWS and AzureStrong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues and drive business outcomesProven ability to research and provide insights on industry standards, regulations, technology assessments, and forecastsDemonstrated expertise in Data Privacy and Master Data ManagementStrong understanding of Data Governance and Enterprise StrategyProven ability to lead teams and manage change effectivelyExcellent negotiation and influencing skills Qualifications to ApplyBachelor's degree required (4-year degree) in Engineering, Advanced Data Analytics, or a related technical or scientific fieldERP implementation experience including full implementation cycles of SAP with SAP MDG as a componentTypically, no less than 6 years relevant developer and architect experience in master data management softwareStrong understanding of Data Governance principlesExperience with Enterprise IT ArchitectureDemonstrated leadership in managing a portfolio of large, complex projects and initiatives within the autonomous mobility spaceA valid driver's license in the US; willingness and ability to travel internationally to meet client needsA track record of successful stakeholder engagement and the ability to maintain and grow business relationships Preferred / Ideally You'll HaveExperience in leading cross-functional teams with a focus on mentorship and professional developmentA strong network within the industryAdvanced analytical skills to drive data-driven decision-makingA passion for innovation and the strategic application of emerging technologies to solve real-world challengesThe ability to foster an inclusive environment that values diverse perspectives and empowers team members What We Look ForWe seek individuals who are not only technically proficient but also possess the ability to inspire and lead teams. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $125,500 to $230,200. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $150,700 to $261,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model.
