Overview The Director of Digital Strategy & Marketing is accountable for the execution and scaling of digital growth initiatives as outlined in the company's strategic roadmap. This role is responsible for optimizing and expanding SEO and SEM marketing programs, refining product detail page (PDP) content to drive higher conversion rates, and building the internal capabilities required to sustain and accelerate performance. The Director will translate high-level strategy into operational results by managing campaigns, improving processes, and developing tools, resources, and team skills that enable long-term success. The Director will expand the company's marketing strategy and drive structured experimentation into new channels, blending strategic vision with hands-on execution to accelerate revenue growth and strengthen competitive advantage across all online channels. Success in this role requires cross-functional leadership, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to deliver measurable results in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. Responsibilities Lead the implementation of the company's digital marketing strategy, with emphasis on scaling high-performing SEO and SEM programs across Amazon, Walmart, and Target marketplaces. Drive PDP optimization efforts to improve visibility, click-through rates, and conversions. Establish repeatable processes for keyword research, ad targeting, bid management, and conversion optimization. Monitor and analyze campaign performance, making real-time adjustments to maximize ROI. Capability Building Build out and lead a high-performing marketing team, establishing clear roles, responsibilities, and performance standards. Develop in-house marketing processes, templates, and playbooks to improve execution speed and consistency. Identify, recommend, and implement marketing tools and technology to support analytics, reporting, and automation. Provide training and mentorship to team members, elevating skills in SEO, SEM, and marketplace content optimization. Build strong cross-functional workflows between marketing, creative, merchandising, and sales to ensure alignment and efficiency. Measurement & Continuous Improvement Build and maintain performance reporting in Excel and Power BI to track KPIs and campaign performance. Implement market-leading analytics platforms as needed to enhance reporting, insight generation, and decision-making. Conduct A/B testing across ad copy, targeting strategies, and PDP content to improve click-through and conversion rates. Report regularly to leadership on progress against KPIs, ROI, and opportunities for further scaling. Stay informed on platform algorithm changes, digital marketing best practices, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge. Minimum Qualifications 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong background in SEO, SEM, and marketplace content optimization. Demonstrated ability to implement and scale paid and organic marketing programs that deliver measurable growth. Proven track record of PDP optimization and marketplace conversion improvement. Experience building and managing high-performing marketing teams. Proficiency with Excel and Power BI for reporting and analysis, plus the ability to implement additional market-leading analytics platforms. Strong project management skills and the ability to execute cross-functional initiatives on time and within budget. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
