About the Position Our Senior Consultant mentors, develops, and coaches our team members while shaping and leading projects, developing relationships with clients, and contributing to business development in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Specific responsibilities include: Guide project work through creative and diligent project planning, including crafting project approaches, assigning roles and responsibilities, monitoring success and managing risks, and discussing needs and options with clients Efficiently design, develop, and produce high-quality deliverables using proven methodologies and frameworks Lead data-gathering efforts (e.g., interviews, surveys, or other quantitative and qualitative data collection/analysis) and stakeholder engagement activities Design, facilitate, and manage client strategy sessions and operational review meetings Conduct analysis and write reports to synthesize the outputs of major interactions in concise documents Serve as lead subject matter expert during the development of proposals, which includes writing content and advising on approaches Develop relationships with clients and stakeholders to support project outcomes and inform follow-on work or new work opportunities Identify future needs of existing clients (beyond current project outcomes) and work with Rockwood leadership to develop approaches for securing work Required Qualifications Must currently hold an active DoD Secret clearance (or higher) Six (6) plus years of relevant work experience in management consulting, organizational development, strategic planning and implementation, communications, change management, and/or facilitation Bachelor/'s degree Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Strong meeting design and facilitation skills Strong relationship management skills and the ability to build, manage, and sustain professional relationships with diverse stakeholders Proven experience developing project approaches, designing critical paths, and defining and measuring success criteria Experience with federal government agencies or DoD organizations Demonstrated experience in strategic communications, customer experience (CX), or business process re-engineering - including developing and executing communication strategies to engage stakeholders, designing intuitive customer-centered solutions to improve adoption, and streamlining processes to enhance efficiency and performance Willingness to work full-time at client sites in the Washington metropolitan area as needed; occasional travel may be required outside of the Washington, D.C. area Preferred Qualifications Master/'s degree Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility Demonstrated experience working within or in support of the Defense Security Enterprise, with a strong understanding of its policies, frameworks, and operational priorities Certification in change management, Lean-Six Sigma, PMP, or other management consulting-related discipline Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) tools and advising clients on their use Business development experience in a consulting environment, including supporting capture efforts, contributing to proposals, and cultivating client relationships to expand engagement opportunities Our Unique Benefits Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance Employee Funded Health Savings Account (HSA) Unlimited Sick Leave Generous Paid Vacation Time and Eight (8) Federal Holidays 401(k) Retirement Program, Rockwood provides a 100% match on employees contributions, up to 4% of their salary deferrals Employer-Paid Parental Leave Employer-Paid Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance and AD&D Continuous Learning and Tuition Reimbursement Bonuses and incentives for high-impact work Monthly Cell phone, Hotspot, or Internet Stipend Monthly Wellness Reimbursement Company Teambuilding Events (i.e.: Nationals Games, Bowling, and more) Salary Range: The annual salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000.00.
