Talent Acquisition Lead

Overview Our client, a multi-manager hedge fund with a long/short equity focus, is seeking a highly motivated and intellectually curious professional to join as a Talent & Business Development professional in San Francisco. This individual will play a key role in identifying, evaluating, and attracting top investment and business talent, while supporting strategic growth initiatives across the platform. Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $350,000.00/yr Key Responsibilities Support end-to-end recruiting efforts for investment and business roles, including sourcing, research, outreach, and process management. Conduct market and competitor mapping to identify high-potential individuals and teams. Assist in crafting compelling narratives and materials for candidate and partner engagement. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of talent across key geographies and strategies. Collaborate closely with senior team members on business development and platform strategy projects. Qualifications 4-6 years of experience in recruiting, business development, research, or strategic sourcing - ideally within a hedge fund, search firm, or investment bank. Exceptional research and organizational skills; comfortable working with ambiguity in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; highly resourceful and self-motivated. Demonstrated interest in hedge funds, investing, or human capital strategy. Entrepreneurial culture within an institutional platform. Exposure to senior leadership and a front-row seat to the talent that drives hedge fund performance.
