Your role in helping us shape the future: We/'re an innovative digital media company with an expanding portfolio of B2B and B2C newsletter products in healthcare, education and consumer segments. Our mission is to inform and engage millions of readers through high-value content and smart, data-driven insights. As we accelerate our growth, we/'re seeking a visionary email newsletter marketing lead to take our subscriber acquisition and engagement to the next level. The Senior Newsletter Marketing Specialist will be responsible for growing and helping to monetize our newsletter portfolio. This includes driving subscriber acquisition and retention, optimizing email marketing performance, and collaborating with content and sales teams to increase newsletter revenue. Are you up to the challenge? Drive audience growth & retention Develop and execute strategies to grow newsletter subscriber lists (organic and paid). Manage referral, lead magnet, and partnership campaigns to drive subscriber acquisition. Maintain and segment subscriber lists to support targeting and personalization. Analyze churn and develop strategies to improve engagement and reduce unsubscribe rates. Support revenue generation Collaborate with sales to create marketing materials that communicate the value proposition and audience of our newsletters. Partner with sales to develop advertising and sponsorship packages. Optimize newsletter placements for ads, affiliate links, and other monetization streams. A/B test subject lines, layouts, and calls-to-action to increase click-through and conversion rates. Develop, test and optimize our emails Own end-to-end email marketing execution: segmentation, scheduling, deliverability, and compliance. Monitor campaign metrics (CTR, open rates, conversions) and provide regular reporting and insights. Ensure all newsletters are aligned with brand voice, goals, and compliance standards. Tailor our email newsletter product functionality and marketing to target customers. Collaborate cross-functional Work with editorial teams to align content and marketing strategies. Collaborate with designers and developers on newsletter templates and UX. Innovate and experiment with new tools, technologies, and tactics to keep us at the forefront of email marketing best practices. You should definitely have: 5 - 8 years experience in digital/email marketing, preferably in a media or content-driven company. Proven success growing and monetizing email newsletters. Strong grasp of email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor, HubSpot, ConvertKit, Sailthru). Familiarity with ESP analytics, A/B testing, deliverability, and list segmentation. Experience with affiliate marketing, sponsorship, or digital ad sales is a plus. Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills. Data-driven mindset with proficiency in Google Analytics and marketing KPIs. It would be nice if you had: Experience launching a newsletter product from scratch. Knowledge of CAN-SPAM and email marketing compliance. Familiarity with Substack, Beehiiv, or similar newsletter platforms. What it's like to work with us: Talent is our best asset! The actual compensation offered will depend on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, education, certifications, interview performance, and location.
