Mid-Level Electrical Engineer

Overview Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a candidate to provide electrical engineering and design for water and wastewater facility projects. Responsibilities Lead electrical engineer on projects for water and wastewater facilities. Responsibilities include supervision of less experienced staff working on projects, and interaction with clients and engineers from other disciplines. Apply knowledge in industrial power design, including medium and low voltage electrical power distribution, generator design, motor control, VFDs, lighting systems, equipment layout and related activities. Maintain good communication with clients and contractors and ensure coordination with other project disciplines. AutoCAD experience is a must; Revit BIM software and SKM and/or ETAP power systems software are desirable. Prior project leadership experience is desirable. Experience with instrumentation and control systems is a plus, including field and panel instruments, operator interfaces, and PLCs. 7-11 years of experience in electrical engineering and design in water/wastewater or other heavy industrial industry is required. Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering is required. Professional Engineering License is required.
