Founding Machine Learning Engineer (LLM)

Overview Early-stage startup with (successful) serial founder is looking to bring on a Founding MLE / Applied Research Scientist with a strong foundation in Reinforcement Learning and Generative AI. This will be a hands-on / applied ML role that will focus on the intersection of Generative AI and network operations (company already valued over $100M from initial funding). Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong academic foundation, 5+ years of experience in deep learning, 2+ years of reinforcement learning, and 1+ years industry experience post-training LLM's. Responsibilities Hands-on / applied ML role focused on the intersection of Generative AI and network operations. Develop and evaluate reinforcement learning and Generative AI models and prototypes; collaborate with the founding team to inform product decisions. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in deep learning; 2+ years in reinforcement learning; 1+ years industry experience post-training LLMs. Strong academic foundation with a focus on Reinforcement Learning and Generative AI.
