Job Description Position: Financial Analytics Consultant 3 Type: Permanent, Direct Hire, Full Time Location: San Francisco, California Our client is seeking a Financial Analytics Consultant to support various financial services including Home Lending, Consumer Credit Cards, Personal Loans and Lines, Auto Loans, Dealer Services, Retail Services, and Education Financial Services. The role involves partnering with Human Resources, Finance, Credit Risk, and Compliance teams. Key Responsibilities: Support the business through advanced consumer analytics, including financial P&L, pro-forma cash flow, NPV analysis, performance tracking, testing, behavioral profiling, and customer segmentation. Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, Risk Management, Customer Service, Collections, and Fraud teams to develop financially sound business cases and optimize capital allocation. Establish strategic initiatives and focus areas for the company, particularly in account growth and profitability. Leverage innovative technologies in a fast-paced environment with senior management exposure. Drive long-term business growth by analyzing and modeling financial data, assessing portfolio trends, and supporting strategic decisions. Prepare financial models and business cases for key initiatives and opportunities. Perform complex data mining and predictive modeling to analyze portfolio trends. Support product line or service changes and expansions. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, balancing big-picture thinking with attention to detail. Qualifications: Strong quantitative and analytical skills, comfortable with ambiguity and change. Experience manipulating large analytical databases using SAS. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Ability to structure analytical problems logically and evaluate financial opportunities. Strong business partnership skills and strategic thinking.
