Expert Staffing West is seeking A Material Handler in Newbury Park CA! Material Handler is responsible for managing the movement, storage, and handling of materials within a warehouse or production environment, ensuring efficient operations and accurate inventory management & do counts for inventory control and perform transactions in Fishbowl or another ERP like Oracle or SAP 1st shift Starting Pay $18 an hr. Key Responsibilities Material Movement: Load, unload, and transport materials and products within the warehouse or production area. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels, documenting orders, and ensuring materials are stored correctly, & do counts for inventory control and perform transactions in Fishbowl or another ERP like Oracle or SAP Order Fulfillment: Pull and verify materials for production orders, ensuring that the correct items are delivered to the appropriate workstations. Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Documentation: Maintain logs and records of materials received, stored, and shipped, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations, Computer oriented Education: High school diploma or equivalent; on-the-job training is typically provided. Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred. Skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks. Familiarity with inventory management systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
