Accounting Supervisor Our client is looking for an experienced Accounting Supervisor to manage the day-to-day functions of their accounting department. This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing reporting deadlines, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. The Accounting Supervisor will provide leadership to a team of accountants supporting multiple business units nationwide, while also partnering with leadership to drive efficiency and strengthen internal controls. Primary Responsibilities of The Accounting Supervisor The Accounting Supervisor will and manage daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger activities. Review reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements for accuracy and compliance. Oversee month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and complete reporting. Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard company resources. Coordinate with external tax advisors by preparing schedules, compiling documentation, and responding to requests. Supervise, coach, and evaluate accounting team members to support their professional growth. Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve department efficiency. Partner with other departments to provide financial insights and resolve accounting-related issues. Build strong cross-departmental relationships to support organizational initiatives. Preferred Qualifications of the Accounting Supervisor: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity. Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks preferred) and advanced Excel skills. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Target Compensation: 85k - 95k #INSEP2025
