The Accounting Specialist will report to the Executive Director who is skilled in nonprofit organizations and has a demonstrated history of excellent leadership. Overview of the Accounting Specialist / Accounts Payable role: Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including receiving and entering invoices into , syncing with QuickBooks, preparing the weekly AP report, and processing vendor payments (~20 per week). Record deposits and donations, including weekly check deposits when needed. Monitor daily bank and credit card activity, ensuring all transactions are accurately posted and supported by receipts. Perform monthly bank reconciliations, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner. Maintain organized and accurate financial records to support reporting and compliance needs. Preferred Qualifications for the Accounting Specialist / Accounts Payable: Understanding of accounts payable process and accounting principles Familiarity using and QuickBooks accounting software Solid Microsoft Excel Please email your resume for immediate consideration.
