As a Senior Cloud Security & Automation Engineer (gn) in Managed Platform Infrastructure, you will play a key role in modernizing and securing our cloud environment with a strong focus on automation, operational excellence, and security best practices. You will work in a collaborative, highly technical team that operates across complex cloud architectures and networking infrastructures. That's where you come in The role As a Senior Cloud Network Security & Automation Engineer, you'll help design, secure, and automate our cloud environments (Azure and AWS). Working in a tight-knit, highly technical team, you'll be at the forefront of modern infrastructure management. You'll be responsible for: • Designing and implementing secure cloud network architectures • Managing firewalls, VPNs, and security groups across Azure and AWS • Automating infrastructure and security tasks using Terraform, Ansible, and scripting (Python, PowerShell or Bash) • Supporting operational teams with secure cloud deployments and performance tuning • Leading continuous improvement in cloud governance, security and automation practices What we need to see from you You're a hands-on engineer with broad experience in cloud networking, security, and automation. Key skills and experience: • Proven background in cybersecurity and cloud operations • Strong knowledge of Azure and/or AWS networking and native security services • Experience with enterprise firewalls (e.g. FortiGate, Barracuda, CheckPoint) • Proficiency with automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Actions • Confident scripting in Python, PowerShell or Bash • Solid understanding of VPNs, BGP, routing, encryption and cloud-native architectures • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR) is a plus Ready to take your cloud engineering skills to the next level?
