Key Responsibilities: As Controller, you will: Oversee all accounting operations (AP, AR, GL, payroll oversight, reconciliations, tax filings). Develop budgets and forecasts; prepare and present financial reports to the Leadership and the Board. Provide forward-looking financial analysis, identify risks, and recommend solutions. Lead the continued shift from manual accounting to modern, cloud-based finance systems. Supervise staff and manage HR administration (benefits, reviews, onboarding, policies). Serve as the finance liaison to Audit, Finance, and Board Level Committees. Oversee IT vendor relationships, equipment lifecycle, and system security. Manage insurance, compliance filings, and administrative procedures. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required. 7-10+ years of progressive nonprofit finance/accounting experience. Strong track record managing federal or foundation grants and presenting to Boards. Supervisory leadership (5+ years) with HR and benefits oversight. Systems savvy, ERP or cloud system implementation experience a plus. Critical thinker with collaborative, transparent leadership style. Ready to Make an Impact?
