Director of Foundry Process Engineering

Advanced Microelectronics Solutions Department We are seeking an experienced Senior Section Lead to join our team and contribute to the development of advanced microelectronic devices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in III-V semiconductor processing, preferably in GaAs, GaN or GaSb. They will be responsible for directing a group of skilled process engineers, reviewing project schedules and costs, determining team priorities, and identifying opportunities for process improvement. The Senior Section Lead will also work closely with operations management to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. They will have Cost Account Manager experience and/or Task Leadership experience, and will be able to work effectively with department managers to develop and deliver employee performance reviews, as well as develop and review proposals. Key Responsibilities: Review process changes, identify and champion process improvement opportunities, work to improve process yields, and interface with operations management Review and oversee project schedules and costs, drive capital acquisition and qualification, execute process improvement and development activities for the foundry Facilitate the effective allocation of team resources in ways to support the oversight of the foundry processes, assist in identifying future capital investment needs, and foster open communication between functional teams Work with the department manager on manpower and resource planning, controlling overhead costs, developing and delivering employee performance reviews, and developing/reviewing proposals Support management at the department, directorate, and functional leadership levels This role requires a US security clearance and U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
